Kensington HoNey
Welcome to Kensington Honey.
We keep our bees right in the heart of Kensington and Chelsea. We're really proud of this very special honey, collected from just a few beehives.
You might be surprised to find beehives here in the centre of London but the Royal Borough is full of parks, gardens, flowers and green spaces with loads of nectar to keep the bees happy. This is pure London honey, carefully produced in small quantities, entirely by hand.
Like a single estate extra virgin olive oil, it has its own unique flavour – thanks to the wide variety of flowers and trees from which the bees collect nectar, the careful management of the bees, and the care with which we extract the honey to preserve its complex and delicate flavours.
It's a wholesome, natural, unprocessed product. It doesn't need any messing about with. To keep it pure and let the taste shine through, very little is done to the honey; it's just taken off the hive, spun and carefully filtered by hand, and then poured into jars - nothing added and nothing taken away.
